As of 11 September 2023, according to ordinance SP71, the access of heavy vehicles (including tourist buses) in and around the municipality of Cernobbio (via Regina - main thoroughfare) has been severely restricted. Participants are therefore advised to check the timetables of public services (buses and boats) with which to reach the conference venue, as no shuttle service will be organized from the hotels to the congress venue, Villa Erba. Likewise, no shuttles will be organised from Milan airports.

From Milano MALPENSA airport to COMO (distance: about 50 km).
Malpensa Express trains connect Malpensa directly with the centre of Milan (Milano Cadorna or Milano Centrale Railway Station). Trains depart every 20-30 minutes, the journey takes about 40 minutes. At the Milano Cadorna or Milano Centrale Railway Station you can catch trains to COMO.
From Malpensa it is also possible to take the Malpensa Express train to Saronno and change here for the Ferrovie Nord Milano train for COMO Lago. Outside the station, reach Piazza Cavour and the bus stop for line CC6, COMO-Maslianico, run by ASF; alight at Villa Erba. The journey is around 5 km.
From Milano LINATE airport to COMO (distance: about 60 km)
Catch the bus "Air Bus Linate - Centrale" to Milano Centrale Railway Station - departures from the arrivals floor - that leaves from 6.30 am to 11.30 pm every 30 minutes. At Milano Centrale railway Station, you can catch the train to Como San Giovanni.
From Bergamo ORIO AL SERIO airport to COMO
Catch a bus to Milano Stazione Centrale (Milano Centrale Railway Station), it leaves every about 20 minutes from 4.00 am. At the Milano Cadorna or Milano Centrale Railway Station you can catch trains to Como.

Take the A9 Milan-Chiasso motorway; take the "Lago di Como" exit (the last exit within Italian borders); then follow the signs to Villa Erba. The multi-storey car park is 200m from the Conference Centre.
From Lugano
Take the Lugano-Milan motorway; take the "Lago di Como" exit about 200 meters past the border.
